"Balance and endurance for the life you want to live."

Welcome — I’m Sharon Friedman

I work with older adults who are ready to reconnect with their bodies, breath, and deeper selves — not through pushing or performing, but through presence and understanding.

My approach is grounded in the Krishnamacharya lineage, where yoga was taught one-on-one, always tailored to the individual. I extend that tradition by integrating life-balancing therapies that support physical stability, mental clarity, and emotional resilience.

Why I Do This Work

I love what I do because it allows me to guide people who are truly willing to do the inner work — to explore who they are and learn how to care for themselves with honesty and compassion.

There’s nothing more rewarding than hearing a client say,
“Now I understand what it takes to stay healthy.”
That’s when I know the work has truly landed.

My Approach

This is yoga beyond the mat. I offer:

  • Breath-centered movement that honors the body’s current reality

  • Mindful practices drawn from Yogic philosophy

  • A safe, supportive space for self-inquiry and transformation

Whether you're new to yoga or returning after time away, my focus is on helping you feel more at home in your body, clearer in your mind, and steadier in your life.

Who I Work With

I specialize in working with adults 50 and over who:

  • Are navigating aging-related changes

  • Want to feel physically and emotionally aligned

  • Seek a deeper connection to themselves through Yogic tradition

  • Value a personalized, gentle approach

Let’s Connect

If you’re ready to begin or return to a practice that meets you where you are — and helps you grow from there — I’d love to hear from you.
