The importance of getting out of our comfort zone

Yoga is all about getting out of your comfort zone. The poses themselves challenge our bodies and minds to find our edge and yet find a place of peace and comfort at the same moment.

The first time I took a yoga class I felt I had come home. Teaching yoga was way out of my comfort zone and to this day I still have to challenge myself to stand in front of my students. I have the “imposter syndrome”. Maybe one day I will feel as at home in front of the class as I do as a student on the mat.
