Setting up your space

Setting up your space doesn’t have to cost a fortune. You can DIY it by finding a corner in your bedroom or a room in your home. Yoga mats, blocks, and belts can be purchased for a reasonable price from Target, Walmart, or Marshalls. Even more economical are the things around your home like books that have the same measurements as blocks. Have a belt on your house robe or one of your kids (or yourself) take taekwondo? Couch cushions can be used for bolsters. Rolled-up large bath towels can also be used to substitute for bolsters.

Be creative, go online and look at the yoga accessories and create your own. Then with a curious mind look around your home and with that beautifully creative mind, we were blessed with “see” your personal practice space.
